Citrix ICA client problems - no keyboard response (weirdness)
Hi, I'm using the citrix ica client from ports to connect to a w2k server, and I'm seeing some weird behaviour. Almost all aspects of the connection seem fine - I can connect, get a logon screen, and if I supply credentials on the command line the login goes like it should. However, keyboard activity doesn't seem to be working. I can see the data going out when I type; but no response. Eg. at the logon screen, I can't type my username, tab between fields or anything. Any ideas or suggestions of what to do next appreciated. Regards Sam Lawrance. Re: Fixed - Citrix ICA client problems - no keyboard response (weirdness)
Problem solved - all I had to do was set the client keyboard type (netbsd worked for me) in Tools - Settings Regards Sam. ___ [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions To unsubscribe, send any mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hmm, is this similar to the problem I had one year ago, described here: http://www.geocrawler.com/archives/3/157/2002/9/0/9696593/ ? That was solved by reinstalling XFree86-libraries: http://www.faqchest.com/linux/freeBSD/fbsd-02/fbsd-0210/fbsd-021046/fbsd02101805_09161.html Any ideas or suggestions of what to do next appreciated. If it's not the same problem as I had, I don't know, sorry. RE: citrix ica client
I had the same citrix-ica problems a while back. Reinstalling XFree86-libraries solved it. see http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/getmsg.cgi?fetch=542242+545230+/usr/local/www/db/text/2002/freebsd-ports/20020929.freebsd-ports Well alright, that sounds plausible. citrix ica client
Is anyone using the citrix_ica port with complete success? I just installed it on this fairly fresh (2 week old) 4.7-stable machine, and the software is not behaving at all like I remember. Wfcmgr seems to basically not work at all (buttons don't do anything, drop down boxes dont drop, selection boxes do not allow selection, text fields do not allow text entry, etc), it occasionally 'freezes' X also, requiring a restart. -Will To Unsubscribe: send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with unsubscribe freebsd-questions in the body of the message

Forgot to mention - I installed the OpenMotif port before the citrix client (required for Nedit). Perhaps this is why it runs well for me? I use OpenMotif in Linux too, I've never tried Citrix with Lesstif.
