linux_base install error

installing linux_base and get error:
/===   linux_base-rh-7.3 depends on executable: rpm - found
Linux mode is not enabled.
Loading linux kernel module now...
kldload: can't load linux: Exec format error
The linux kernel module could not be loaded.
Please enable linux mode manually and retry.
/
I have already added an entry in rc.conf and am running generic kernel

Maybe your linux.ko module isn't matched with your kernel, do you always
rebuild the modules when you rebuild the kernel?
