Re: make openoffice/java compile error
Hello Alan, do you have linux_base and linux port of jdk14 installed together with enabled linprocfs filesystem? You need to have linux jdk14 built in order to install native jdk14. make openoffice/java compile error
Hi, I am installing openoffice 1.1 on my computer running freeBSD 4.9. I downloaded the latest ports directory before proceeding. While compiling, I got the following error message. What is wrong? As a side note, I did create the mount point for linprocfs, added it to /etc/fstab, and mounted it. This arose from an earlier error in the compile process. ... ../../../src/solaris/classes/sun/io/ByteToCharCOMPOUND_TEXT.java ../../../src/ solaris/classes/sun/io/CharToByteCOMPOUND_TEXT.java ../../../src/solaris/ classes/sun/io/CompoundTextSupport.java /usr/ports/java/jdk14/work/control/ build/bsd-i586/gensrc/java/lang/Character.java ../../../src/share/classes/ sun/misc/AtomicLong.java ../../../src/share/classes/sun/misc/ AtomicLongCSImpl.java ../../../src/share/classes/sun/misc/ AtomicLongLockImpl.java ; \ fi /usr/ports/java/jdk14/work/control/build/bsd-i586/gensrc/java/util/ CurrencyData.java:1: 'class' or 'interface' expected Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM warning: Can't detect initial thread stack location ^ /usr/ports/java/jdk14/work/control/build/bsd-i586/gensrc/java/util/ CurrencyData.java:1: unclosed character literal Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM warning: Can't detect initial thread stack location ^ 2 errors gmake[4]: *** [.compile.classlist] Error 1 gmake[4]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/java/jdk14/work/j2se/make/java/java' gmake[3]: *** [optimized] Error 2 gmake[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/java/jdk14/work/j2se/make/java/java' gmake[2]: *** [all] Error 1 gmake[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/java/jdk14/work/j2se/make/java' gmake[1]: *** [all] Error 1 gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/java/jdk14/work/j2se/make' gmake: *** [j2se-build] Error 2 *** Error code 2 Stop in /usr/ports/java/jdk14. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/editors/openoffice-1.1.
