Did you happen to mount your /tmp partition 'noexec'?

port installs failing

2002-10-26 Thread Neo
Hi,

since upgrading to 4.7-STABLE, i have some strange behaviour when i try to
install or upgrade some ports, for example xchat.
The config fails with the message:
configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C compiler cannot
create executables.

Other ports are upgrading without this problem.
I've rebuild the entire gcc3.0, but i get the same error.

Any ideas?
