This would be the Right Thing IMHO.

 which Do The Wrong Thing(tm) should get updated to do it this way.  Ones
 like mysqlXX-server should be placed high on the priority list given

If you have an already tested patch for the mysql rc script, I'll commit
 it asap.

My card identifies itself as 2462s, in an IBM blade.


Nobody tested the new code with a 246x card, but probably is the same as 
242x (tested).

Errr, there is a problem: the card reader is *internal* (it fits in a
3.5 slot). It's not so handy if I have to open the case and unplug the
usb cable everytime I insert a card.
