6.1 and full i915 support?
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Hi, Initial support for i915 based graphics cards were introduced last April and enabled in the Makefile in November resulting an i915-ready agp driver, but the drm subsystem was not working. Thanks to A. Popov the problem of drm was solved and the changes were put to the cvs tree (i915_drv.c 1.3, drm_drv.c 1.4) in December. In the last few months this code remained in the MAIN branch resulting that 6.1 users can get only a half working driver for their i915 based systems. I have been using a patched driver on my 6.X box for almost 4 months without any problem, so I really do not understand why this part of the drm code was not MFC'd into the RELENG_6 branch. Is there any reason for doing so? Thanks, Laci - -- László Károly <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Department of Altaic StudiesEgyetem str. 2. Re: Problems with OpenOffice compile after upgrade from 5.2.1 to 5.3

With this you can compile OO.org successfully. Furthermore, I recommend you to upgrade your system to 5.3-STABLE, on 5.3-RELEASE there are threading issues with OO.org. Zahy < Gabor at Zahemszky dot HU > PS: cvsup of RELENG-5 from yesterday (cdrecord recompiled). By the way, I could burn CD with cdrecord on it in the last 3 weeks, with some older RELENG-5 (and with an older firmware). It works fine in my box (FreeBSD 5.3-p2, cdrecord 2.00.3). Note that my drive has only firmware TS03; try to downgrade to an older version (I know it seems to be ridiculous, however, sometimes new firmwares may more buggy than older ones).
