ABIT KT7 and temp monitoring

2001-03-08 Thread Lee Cremeans

Has anyone been able to get healthd or any of the temperature monitoring
tools in ports/ to to work on a ABIT KT7? I tried both, and neither can find
the chip on my board (healthd dies, the other utility gives me bogus data).
Any ideas? I'm running FreeBSD 4.2-STABLE.

On compaq ML350 dual processor kernel says:

 APIC_IO: routing 8254 via 8259 and IOAPIC #0 intpin 0

Is it some major problem or just annoying message ?

It's just saying it's working around a quirk in the IOAPIC setup. It seems
to be common on Compaqs; I have a ProLiant 800 (dual PPro 200) that gives a
similar message when it boots Linux 2.2. If the machine's working, it's
nothing to worry about.

For RealPlayer 7, I've found that the key to sync problems is
to go to the 'view--preferences--performance' area and set

 solved for me anyway.

Yay, that fixed it! Thanks so much for the help, everyone!
