I have just encountered this on i386 having just cvsup'd to RELENG_6_3.

The machines userland and kernel are tagged 6.2-PRERELEASE.

Too many architectures, too many FreeBSD versions in flight...
I've found one commit flubup I made.  Please let me know if that takes
care of your problem.
