The index.php is the third in this example, but You can use a different order. If you run apache just add index.php to DirectoryIndex directive at the httpd.conf and it should work fine. example: IfModule mod_dir.c DirectoryIndex index.html index.wml index.cgi index.shtml index.jsp index.js index.jp index.php4 index.php3 index.php index.phtml index.htm default.htm default.html home.htm /IfModule you can have any file name for example maher.php too and it will load as the first page.
