Just for information, in case anyone is interested. I upgraded my amd64 machine to FreeBSD 5.4-stable today: [EMAIL PROTECTED] uname -a FreeBSD kg-quiet.kg4.no 5.4-STABLE FreeBSD 5.4-STABLE #1: Sat Apr 16 21:04:54 CEST 2005 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/QUIET amd64
and (not surprisingly, really) it still needs hint.apic.0.disabled="1" in /boot/loader.conf (see earlier thread "amd64 and FreeBSD 5.4-BETA1" on this mailinglist) Other than that, I have not noticed any changes. dmesg.boot attached. -- Regards, Torfinn Ingolfsen, Norway
