Update of bug #15586 (project freeciv): Status: Ready For Test = Fixed Open/Closed:Open = Closed ___ Follow-up Comment #9: I'm happy with the consistency back, all API types (except helper types) have an .id field. But what is more important in the long run: with properties (as added in the trunk patch), the lua API we present can be totally independent from struct fields, fields can always be replaced by accessors. ___ Reply to this item at: http://gna.org/bugs/?15586 ___ Meddelandet skickades via/av Gna! http://gna.org/ ___ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev
[Freeciv-Dev] [bug #15887] Unit list on sidebar doesn't scale and has non-functional icon
URL: http://gna.org/bugs/?15887 Summary: Unit list on sidebar doesn't scale and has non-functional icon Project: Freeciv Submitted by: None Submitted on: Friday 04/16/2010 at 16:16 CEST Category: client-gtk-2.0 Severity: 2 - Minor Priority: 5 - Normal Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Release: trunk Discussion Lock: Any Operating System: GNU/Linux Planned Release: ___ Details: The unit list in the sidebar in the gtk client doesn't scale well and blue arrow icon doesn't seem to work at all. See attached screenshot for example. In the screenshot the unit stack has 5 units. Only 2 of them is shown in the sidebar even if it has room for at least all 5. In addition the blue arrow seem to be completely non-functional. The only action that seems to be possible is to click on one of the two units shown which flips the order of the two units shown, but doesn't affect the other 3 it seems. This altogether makes the sidebar rather suboptimal for presenting the information and functionality I would expect from it: * Show all units that there is room for * Blue arrow to show the rest of the units in a sub-menu or by changing which units that is shown. * Show how many units are in the stack ___ File Attachments: --- Date: Friday 04/16/2010 at 16:16 CEST Name: sidebar.png Size: 12kB By: None http://gna.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=8989 ___ Reply to this item at: http://gna.org/bugs/?15887 ___ Message sent via/by Gna! http://gna.org/ ___ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev

[Freeciv-Dev] [bug #15890] Typo in settings.c
URL: http://gna.org/bugs/?15890 Summary: Typo in settings.c Project: Freeciv Submitted by: jcreus Submitted on: Friday 04/16/10 at 22:43 Category: None Severity: 2 - Minor Priority: 3 - Low Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Release: 2.2.0 Discussion Lock: Any Operating System: GNU/Linux Planned Release: ___ Details: In one of the new help texts, there is a non instead of none. Furthermore, careful is spelt with two l's. There is also a plural form after none. There are lots of discussions concerning this last plural form, but it seems that formal English requires singular (although many speakers will use plural informally). [Freeciv-Dev] [bug #15890] Typo in settings.c
Follow-up Comment #1, bug #15890 (project freeciv): I am not a native English speaker, but it looks strange that the name preceded of the number 0 takes the plural form, where the verb take the singular. But maybe 'none' is a special case? ___ Reply to this item at: http://gna.org/bugs/?15890 ___ Message posté via/par Gna! http://gna.org/ ___ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev

Follow-up Comment #2, bug #15890 (project freeciv): As a native English speaker, I'll say that 'none of the formats is' sounds wrong, and 'none of the formats are' sounds right. ___ Reply to this item at: http://gna.org/bugs/?15890 ___ Message sent via/by Gna! http://gna.org/ ___ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev
