Follow-up Comment #1, patch #6683 (project freeciv):

Pepeto's argument was about values that matter. Currently the only floats
transfered are about ping times. Unless situation changes before Network
Protocol Freeze, this ticket is not a blocker for S2_6.

Details:

bug #22960 just silences warnings about the changes to exact value of a float
values when transfered over the network with the currently used
representation.
Pepeto wanted that floating points must have exactly same value on both ends
after they have been transfered over the network, so their network
representation must be changed to one with such accuracy.
