The final release of Freeciv 2.4.0 is now available, based on the second release candidate.
See what's changed from 2.3.x: <http://www.freeciv.org/wiki/NEWS-2.4.0>. Download the source tarball from one of our mirrors, linked from <http://www.freeciv.org/wiki/Download#Stable_2.4>. The final release is practically identical to RC2, so while final Windows packages are not yet available, 2.4.0-RC2 is still good.
