There is also a full package from sis.com.

Get sl119.zip from SiS.

 How can I install it?

Read sl119\pktdrv\readme.TXT or just try loading
sl119\pktdrv\SIS900.EXE. More info at http://lazybrowndog.net/freedos/

(It`s about going online, arachne etc. Not lan.)

That's basically the same, because I think, you're using a DSL router.

Great, I got my network card working. I need some dial up software for
broadband ADSL. The only software I know for this purpose is pepa. Pepa
shows somehow no debug informations.

Is there some other software?

Do yourself a favour and buy a DSL router (Netgear, D-Link, ...). It's
much easier to maintain and probably also cheaper than fiddling around
with PEPA for lots of hours.

Re: [Freedos-user] Dos extender : Read Old AT interface disk

2008-05-22 Thread Richard Fryer
Hi

My code should xlate to 64bit quite easily.

I assume EAX just goes to 64b from 32b and address's are still 32b,plus the
clever things done in
addressing the descriptors to extend address space, which i did'nt support, the
full 386 addr space
was humungus.

Need a old 386/486 to read disk think current IDE not the same as AT interface.

can get it read here in sydney but will cost $2500,have geometry, written on
disk.

widget works

message magically appears in front of Eric Auer:

You should check the thread with Roberto Waldteufel in the list
archive, around April 2005: Roberto could use 2 GB with cwsdpmi
and 3.24 GB with dpmione. The rest was probably reserved RAM for
things like framebuffers, other MMIO, BIOS and ACPI, hibernate?

Can't we just build a 64bit DOS extender instead? It'd be
 interesting
 and fun...
