Note that SWSUBST has somewhat "strange" command line options, so
simply "SWSUBST F: C:" might do something else than what you want.

It is no exact clone of MS SUBST. Please read the manual carefully.

Also, if you have error messages about share, you may have to
load the SHARE driver TSR before using SWSUBST.

Cheers, Eric

1). http://help.fdos.org/en/hhstndrd/base/fdisk.htm
2). http://help.fdos.org/en/hhstndrd/base/format.htm
3). http://help.fdos.org/en/hhstndrd/base/sys.htm

Ulrich Hansen previously pointed us to a nice MS-DOS installation
tutorial he found online, so it may give you some idea of what's going
on. E.g. it mentions fdisk and format (under "Hard Disk Preparation"):
   http://www.legroom.net/howto/msdos

But a VM or bootable USB is safer, if you aren't sure what to do exactly.

[Freedos-user] picoSNTP v0.9.1

2016-04-11 Thread Mateusz Viste
Hello list,

Short message to let you know I released a new 'bugfix' version of picoSNTP.

http://picosntp.sourceforge.net/

picoSNTP v0.9.1 fixes an obvious bug that I somehow missed the first
time (shame on me). Specifically, picoSNTP was synchronizing the
system's *time* fine, but not the *date*. That's fixed now. Credits to
Rugxulo for kindly reporting it!

Mateusz
