Question on Attribute Value Operators
Is the '+=' Operator usedfor defining theAttribute Value pairs a standard operator used with all radius Servers or is this something that just freeRadius Provides. Thanks in advance, Sanjiv attachment: Blank Bkgrd.gif
Add new Attributes to Radius
I want to be able to add new Attributes to Radius. For example ATTRIBUTESpecial-Group10001string What I want to be able to do is When a User is Authenticated, I want Radius to be able to send me this Attribute (with its Value) in the Reply just like the Reply-Message Attribute gets sent as part of the Reply List. So something like this.. usertest Auth-Type := CHAP, User-Password == chappassword Service-Type = Login-User, Special-Group = temp, Reply-Message = Hello, %u Is that even possible to do without modifying the Radius Source Code? Add Delete Modify Users
I am new to using this Radius Server so please bear with me.When Ichange a user's password in the users file or make some other change tothe user's profile like change the Auth-Type from PAP to CHAP or something I have to restart the radius server. Hi I am new to the freeRadius Users List. I had used Radius (Livingston) about 4 years ago and I am having to use it again all over. My Question is: Is there documentation available describing the options available to start the radius daemon. I have tried to do an extensive search but unfruitful. Can someone please giude me?
