Then that looks like a bug. What platform are you running the
server on?

Sure. It will be logged in the 'detail' file.

Sorry, I can't help you here.

nope not there !
I thought it could be something related to my Class patch ( to skip .255 and
.0)
but it doesn't seem like it.

If I look at the Proxy Log Access-Accept log, it is sending to the NAS
the Framed-IP-Address BUT in reverse Order ...
It does the same with the Framed-IP-Netmask ( 255.255.255.0) coming from
the MySQL DB ... ( that's why it is probably not something with my Class
Patch)

the Proxy is a WinNT4 / SBR 2.10.05e you think SBR
is playing w/ the endianness of the Framed-IP???

Well, if we don't receive the Framed-IP-Address/Framed-IP-Netmask/NAS- in
the
Accounting-START but if we receive it in the Accounting-STOP, shouldn't it
be logged???
( SBR is loggin the IP in their accounting FlatFile log)

from my previous mail, I still don't understand why the NAS-Port is not
logged into mysql?
the field: NasPortID = 0 ... looks very strange to me :
radlast gives me entries like that :
fablab 260:1C4gEgMon Nov 12 16:23 - 16:24 (00:00)
where 206 is the NasPort ... so why is it not logged into MySQL ??
and I till don't get where the 1C4gEg is coming from !

thanks

fabrice

Yes, and it should also print out the *real* IP address it uses.

So? It's in the FAQ. The server can only log the attributes it
gets. If the NAS doesn't send the attribute, then fix the NAS, not
the server.

With the order reversed? That looks like a bug.

  Fix the NAS.

Framed-IP-Address missing in radlast and in MySQL DB

2001-11-12 Thread Fabrice LABORIE

Hi !

FreeRadius is doing the IP allocation.
I get something strange:

In the Access-Request I see
NAS-Port = 207

in the Access-Accept I see:
Framed-IP-Address = 192.168.1.1+

in the ACT-Request START I see
NAS-Port = 207
and no Framed-IP-Address !!!

in the ACT-Request STOP I see
Framed-IP-Address = 208.1.168.192

BUT:
Neither in radwho, in radlast nor in the MySQL DB, the Framed-IP-Address is
stored !!!
why ???
Do I have to configure anything in order to enable that ?

Also, the NAS-Port is not stored in MySQL ( the field: NasPortID = 0 )
Strange ?

radlast gives me entries like that :
fablab 260:1C4gEgMon Nov 12 16:23 - 16:24 (00:00)

What on earth is this 1C4gEg ??
