RES: UNKNOWN NAS

2003-07-14 Thread Ricardo Batista
No, but I have another radius server running Freeradius 0.4 and it's
working in correct way. If I not found another solution I will try the
upgrade, because today I have some solutions using this version and in
this moment is better keep on.

Thanks for your attention.

Hi, I have a problem using Freeradius 0.5. The Radius server is
working ok, but when the authentication occurs in the radius log
file I see UNKNOWN NAS. The login occurs OK . Ex: Auth: Login OK:
 [login/password] (from nas UNKNOWN-NAS port 9)

Is there a kind of parameter that solve this problem ?

It was a bug in the release version of 0.5. A CVS snapshot fixed it, but
if you want to go the least distance from 0.4, then I'd go to 0.6. (Not
debating _why_ you'd want to do that, though.)
