True, as I said I was a bit confused about physical location. But the documentation doesn't not say it either. I take it, that it doesn't need a wireless NIC then. Thanks for clearing that part up. >That, I don't know. But if they support RADIUS, they should work >with FreeRADIUS. Apparently Linksys isn't even sure if they support it. I can't get a decent answer out of them. There is no radius Tab anywhere in the config, but that doesn't neccesarily mean that it won't work (I hope). Radius server physical location and more....
Hi, This may be a dumb question, but I am a bit confused about the physical location requirements of the radius server. Does it need to have an 802.11 card in order to function or can it be hooked to a land line ? I would assume it needs the wireless nic but can anyone clear this up for me ? Another question is regarding access point type. We have some extra Linksys BEFW11s4v2 Access Points and I was wondering, has anyone tried using these ? Do they support Radius and EAP/TLS ? I have asked linksys, but their responses are rather uneducated and frustrating. If I am wasting time with setting up freeradius(which I have already done) and my access points won't even support it can someone let me know ? Any info is appreciated.
