  It's not a standard, and it probably won't become a standard.  But
it's possible that dynamic clients will use this protocol, and it
shouldn't be too difficult to modify FreeRADIUS to follow.

Use a secure NAT box with RFC1918 IP space in front of your 
Clients. Otherwise, why would you don't want RADIUS to freely 
decide who it is authorized to talk to?
