segmentation fault with postgresql and cisco vsa, please help

2004-07-14 Thread Apu islam
Hello group,

I just downloaded the pre 1 release of the freeradius
and using it with cisco vsa hack and postgresql. When
I start radiusd, I receive a segmentation fault,

 sql: postauth_table = "radpostauth"
 sql: postauth_query = ""
 sql: safe-characters =
"@abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ0123456789.-_:
/"
Segmentation fault

The tables and databases are created successfully and
I tested. I commented out vsa-hack and still see the
same segmentation fault.

please help.

actually it's the latest version that you have on your
website (not the cvs).

discrapencies on pre3 + postgres setup ?

2004-07-15 Thread Apu islam
I had been using freeradius 0.9.3 for a while and now
for a larger deployment I am choosing pre3 with
postgres option. However, there are some discrapencies
I have noticed while I wanted to build it with
pgsql-voip with cisco vsa hack.
The database schema provided on
src/billing/cisco_xxx.sql file gets loaded fine to the
postgres database. However, the tables created for
accounting records are 'startvoip' and 'stopvoip'. and
while I want to use this with the pgsql-voip.conf file
provided under raddb I see the accounting tables as
'Start' and 'Stop'.
I have tested the server many times and it crashes
anytime I want to load the sql modules, even after
changing the pgsql-voip.conf .

Has anyone tested the vsa hack with postgres on pre3 ?
would you please inform if you had seen the same
problem and how you solved it ?

Platform FreeBSD 4.7, freeradius 1.0 pre3

regards,

apu

bug ?

2004-07-18 Thread Apu islam
Hello,
I am trying to get the 1.0 pre3 version working with
postgresql in freebsd4.7. I tested with mysql and
worked fine, however when I use postgresql both
pgsql-voip.conf and the postgresql.conf I receive
segmentation fault.

One thing I had noticed when I was using
pgsql-voip.conf was that the accounting table 1 (start
accounting recrods) shows up as radacct (should be
startvoip?) and the acct table 2 is stopvoip.

Gdb trace included, is this a bug? how should I make
this work ?

Core was generated by `radiusd'.
Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault.

[FreeRadius] rlm_postgresql cannot link driver

2004-11-17 Thread Apu islam
Hello Gang,

I just installed the 1.01 on my red hat, but having
problems with the pgsql-voip module. I did what the
doc says, but ended up with this error

rlm_sql (pgsql-voip): Could not link driver
rlm_sql_postgresql: file not found
rlm_sql (pgsql-voip): Make sure it (and all its
dependent libraries!) are in the search path of your
system's ld.
radiusd.conf[9]: pgsql-voip: Module instantiation

can someone shed some light?

[freeradius] postgresql index stoptelephonycombo on pgsql-voip

2004-11-21 Thread Apu islam
Hello,

I am trying to run pgsql-voip(version 1.01) schema on
RHAT 7.3, however I am seeing the following error :

rlm_sql (pgsql-voip): Reserving sql socket id: 6
ERROR: duplicate key violates unique constraint
"stoptelephonycombo"

I checked the database and found the following
indexes:
Indexes:

"stoptelephony_pkey" primary key, btree
(radacctid)
"stoptelephonycombo" unique, btree (h323setuptime,
nasipaddress, callid, cisconasport)

it seems to me the cisconasport attribute is a little
fishy. Anyone else encountered this problem? should
this be a bug ?

I never tried with with php, but there is an apache

perl or perhaps mod_perl even.
Here is the sample code, Apache::AuthenRadius

 # Authentication in .htaccess

 AuthName Radius
 AuthType Basic

 # authenticate via Radius
 PerlAuthenHandler Apache::AuthenRadius

 PerlSetVar Auth_Radius_host radius.foo.com

 PerlSetVar Auth_Radius_secret MySharedSecret

postgreSQL 8.1 & FR 1.0.5

2005-12-03 Thread Apu islam
I have previous versions of FR running fine with
postreSQL7.4 and pgsql-voip. However, this new
installation that I am doing seems to present a
segmentation fault. Only thing I have changed is the
database, now it's the new 8.1 version.
Anyone else has experienced this issue ? ( I am
running on FreeBSD 5.4 ). FR runs fine without the
Pgsql-voip part of it.
How to debug the core ?
suggestions ?

Re: aqua gatekeeper sql

2005-03-15 Thread Apu islam
you want to place the columns frequently changes on
your index if you are creating 'Unique' index. The
existing indexing scheme will work just fine, since
you have a multiple column index. The likelihood of
being all those similar is close to none. So, do not
change it.

Re: Re[2]: aqua gatekeeper sql

2005-03-16 Thread Apu islam
the callid should not be the same even if the other
ones are. The chances are very very low. You can
change it (add another column to index), there is no
harm but you will increase your index size and
therefore increasing insert/delete/update operation
time on that database.

However, I am dicking around with the sql module and

The table structres has been created and I cheked the
rlm_sql option and that is set for mysql. the version

any suggestion ?

[freeRADIUS] filtering attribute values, any clues ?

2004-03-15 Thread Apu islam
hello guys,

I need to filter some values once I make the INSERT
statement on sql.conf .
Here is what I see on the log file

Quintum-h323-disconnect-time = "h323-disconnect
time=18:47:03.610 UTC Sat Mar 13 2004"

where I need to extract the value of time and insert
it into the appropriate column after filtering it.
There are other attributes that needs special
processing as well.

is it possible to use some perl code to change the
strings ? are there other ways this can be achieved ?
(not just time, attribute values in general.)
Any help appreciated.

auth: No authenticate method (Auth-Type) configuration
found for the request: Rejecting the user

can you tell me how to get around that ? I have dug in
but did not see any way I could set the flag when I
create the user in dialup-admin. Any help is
appreciated.

rewriting Frame-IP-Netmask

2006-10-05 Thread Apu islam
I am having problems rewriting the IP Netmask
attribure. I am using mysql for my user authorization.
the IP address seems to get set right, but the Netmask
does not. I have specified it specifically and even
changed the default, but could not get this to work.
Its a PPP framed connection.
What should I look at ? Thank you for suggestions.

sql.conf on /usr/local/etc/raddb
while you are at it, look at the other .conf file too.

cisco and incoming dial in setup bounty $100

2006-12-24 Thread Apu islam
I am willing to pay someone $100 for a cisco dial-in
and a FreeRadius setup.
It will be a first come first serve kind of a thing
and on a good faith basis. The setup is as follows:

1. A cisco AS 5200 with 48 modem pool
2. A CAC FXO channel bank for a/d conversion
3. A freeBSD/Linux server with FR1.05 and dialupadmin
installed.

I am in U.S. and will pay someone preferrably via
Paypal. International parties are also welcome.
regards

Apu
