customise dialup admin

Hi

i'm presently using dialup admin for client connexion to the net.
but my handicap is the time counter. i would like to know if it would be
possible
to set graphical time counter for a customer . also is it possible to
increase the time limit
for a customer that may require an hour more.
if yes how please.

i understood clearly your explanation doing a little litterature(rfc 2865
SECTION 4.1) i understood it.
I'm using a linksys box with dd-wrt and chillispot enable, and i have been
going round
i really don't see what brings about CHAP in my client and radius exchange.
Moreover i've been built the same architecture successfully.
please give me an idea

Chap-password to User-password

Hi all

I installed freeradius 1.1.6 with mysql for storing users login.
i created some users  through dialup admin page and had their password
stored in User-password attribute.(i checked in the database select from
radcheck)

when i fire up radius in debug i notice that there is a CHAP challenge and
the password is in a CHAP-password format rejecting then access with message
auth: local
auth: user supplied password does not match local user-password

when in my radiusd.conf authorize section i uncomment chap
i have
auth: type CHAP
rlm_chap:login attempt by username with CHAP password
rlm_chap: using clear text password 'mypass' for user username
authentication
rlm_chap: passxord check failed

I would like to stop the put my password in User-password rather than
CHAP-password, but don't know how it should be done.

chap password reject

Hi

am using a fedora core 6 platform with freeradius 1.1.6 and mysql for
storing users login.with the

when i start radiusd in debug mode i have chap reject my password with the
message:
processing the authenticate section of radiusd.conf
modcall:entering groupa chap for request 0
rlm_chap: login attempt by aniams with CHAP password
rlm_chap: using clear text password carl for user aniams authentication
rlm_chap: password check failed

i've tried many options including reading faq but nothing yet.Attached is my
radiusd.conf

can somebody give a help?

problem with dialup admin, php

hi all,

i'm using dialup admin on a freeradius server.
i updated the folowing packages: php4 to php5, mysql4 to my sql5 with the
corresponding php-mysql 5

when i browse my dialup admin interface the menu buttons do not appear and
am rather asked to download the php file(eg buttons.php3)
looking in the http error_access.log i have for the dialup admin page the
message: undefined variable at /buttons.php3
Also all other other software installed containing php scripts and
databases(index.php) do not open at all or open partially.

i have in my httpd.conf *application*/x-httpd-php .php3

i'm using fedora core 4, freeradius1.1.6

using EAP instead of chilli

hi all

i'm  using freeradius with a mysql database to authenticate users through
chillispot, and it's working fine.
i would like to authenticate my user using EAP instead of using chilli that
already grant them access through dhcp to the network

i have a wrt54g linksys running dd-wrt

can someone help or give a link on how to deploy using the same linksys box.

In the users file i  commented the authtype=system for user:DEFAULT

now the authentication is done through PAP but pap rejects user

look the joint file

No user can be authenticate whether in database or an account user.

users authentication failed

hi all
thanks for assistance i apreciate

i put in attached the result of radiusd -X so as to make my problem really
understandable

i used 2 users; carl pass: aniam and akim pass:willy

carl failed to login and akim was successful

Something new i discovered is that when i create user carl as a sytem
account he is accepted by the radius
so it seems my radius server checks it users elswhere than the database.
what  can i do?

I used numbers (123456) and it seems to work.seems??

when i use user:akim passwd:willy  everything is allwright (redirection
authentication on radius and message response ok.) using browsing the net

but when i try to use another user (carl passwd:aniam or all the several
users i created ) i have an access-reject message
with following result:

What part of that message is unclear?




Be sure that i crossed check the shared secret  on my server and on the nas
(the AP) yet nothing
i even changed them yet nothing

debug messages on dialupadmin interface

I finished installing my freeradius 1.1.6 vers, and the dialup admin
interface is configured with mysql server V4.1.11. Everything is up, yet
when i insert a user and ask for his statistics it displays the stats though
but before i have a full page of debug messages.
So it is for whatever page i open there are debug messages that visibly
shouldn't appear(i think).
Is it normal?

i've created radius database but can't create tables because i can't find
the db_mysql.sql file neither in /doc/examples/ nor  in

dialupadmin not displaying menu

hi,
I am installing a wireless  hotspot with freeradius.the installation went
fine, but when trying to display the dialupadmin html page http://localhost
/dialupadmin  the pae displays fine but the
menu on the left is not displayed as it should be.
instead i observed that it is the content of a php3 script in the conf file
that are written
