I don't know the fine details of the device and firmware. (I'm pathetic.) One thing that I do know is that reseting the router to defaults does not remove the tinyPEAP users. More info at http://www.tinypeap.com/ Virtual disk system? I guess. I mean, I can ssh in and navigate a filesystem. The specs say that the WRT54GS has 32MB RAM and 8MB flash; twice as much as the WRT54G (without the S). - List info/subscribe/unsubscribe? See http://www.freeradius.org/list/users.html

I paid under $76 after $10 rebate and $10 gift card at Staples. (Staples has a great return policy, just in case.) The Amazon deal is nice because it's tax free with free shipping. Anyone try a Buffalo AirStation G54 WLA-G54C?? It claims 802.1x, WPA, TKIP support and is about $80. It looks like a version with a built in 4 port ethernet switch is around $100. A quick search on that turns up a GW 7001 lists for $299 (g only) and $399 (a/g) at Gateway's web size and the A/G $359 at CDW. I was looking around yesterday, and I noticed that Linksys' new wireless router (WTV56G I believe) perports to support 802.1x. It retails for about $180 depending on where you look. It's more than just an AP though, it has full blown router functions. --Mike On Tue, 2004-11-16 at 08:00, Joe Matuscak wrote: > Hi. > > I'd like to set up wireless at my home and do it securely. Low cost APs that support EAP/TLS & Freeradius??
Hi. I'd like to set up wireless at my home and do it securely. At work im using Cisco 1200s with Freeradius authenticating with EAP/TLS. I'd like to do the same thing at home, but the Cisco 1200s are *way* outside of my budget :-) Does anyone have any suggestions for a reasonably priced 802.11g access point that works well with Freeradius doing EAP/TLS??
