The other thing i want to ask is: I had radius working. Suddenly (
sometime later, do not know how much later ) it stopped
working. The
rare thing was that when 'netstat -putan' was executed, I could see
radiusd listening at the defined ports. But, when tested using
nt-radping, I had no answer from radius.
I looked at logs, and found the following ( at about time I
think it
stopped working ): Thu May 12 22:23:33 2005 : Error: Failed
creating
PID file
/usr/local/var/run/radiusd/radiusd.pid: No such file or directory
^^
^^
Lucas, you dont have the /usr/local/var/run/radiusd
directory or you dont have the correct permission on it. The
error is pretty clear, isnt it?
Well, yes, you're rigth ... I did not have the directory. Once added, It
worked again ... but, I tell you. When the directory
/usr/local/var/run/radiusd/ did not exist, freeradus started up the
same, when ran as 'radiusd -x -f'. So, that is why I did not pay much
attention to that problem. But, if this could have been the whole thing,
please, let me know ...
Thanks
Best Regards,
Lucas
