of course you did - thats because you chose to run the radiusd daemon as 'radius'. its expected that you know how to do some basic UNIX stuff - and therefore set eg chmod u+r radius:radius 'raddb directory location' (where the directory is whereever you decided it to be). there is no hard, fixed user or group to run the daemon as, therefore there is a need to change permissions. its normal. alan - List info/subscribe/unsubscribe?
