Re: [Freesurfer] question re: ventromedial and dorsolateral frontal lobe volumes

2007-09-18 Thread rahul
Hi Anne,

Within our parcellation system, the medial orbitofrontal cortex roughly
corresponds to the ventro-medial frontal area. Though there is no explicit
region of interest for the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex within our
parcellation system per se, you can either measure it yourself (which may
be slightly painful if you have a large number of subjects) or use the
rostral middle frontal ROI, which encapsulates the DLPFC.

Hope this helps,

rahul

Hi Mehul,

we have a dev version of something that does this, but it's not ready for
release yet.

sorry

Hi all,

I would like to segment lesions using both T1 and FLAIR images.
I think this is not possible with the current version of freesurfer. Is that

Could I somehow combine the segmentation results from aseg with the FLAIR
images ?

[Freesurfer] pictures from the freesurfer digest

2007-09-18 Thread bell0368

Hello all,

I am subscribed to the freesurfer list in digest format. If someone sends
pictures to the list I am not able to see/open them from the digest or from
the archives. Is there an option I need to change? Or do I need to switch
off digest mode completely?

Thanks in advance,

Chris Bell

[Freesurfer] legacy data and FDR

2007-09-18 Thread Robert Levy

Hi,

Is it possible to use FDR in stable3 for data that was processed prior
to the introduction of brainmask.mgz? It seems like I can view the
data just fine in stable3, or stable2 for that matter (though not stable
4), but FDR gives results that seem wrong. FDR sets the threshold to
-log10(p)=4.279537 [p=.5] no matter what the starting pvalue is.

Thanks,
Rob
