Hi Silas
usually the fsaverage folder is a symlink, so you may only have one. Create
the label, then use mri_label2label to map it across subjects. I would
certainly look at it to make sure it is ok, but frequently it won't need
editing (it depends on where in the brain you draw it, and whether you have
any subjects with unlikely folding patterns).
