Re: [Freesurfer] invalid command name PNG
I can probably upgrade it without a problem. The machine is running Panther, so would you recommend x-tad-smallerfreesurfer-Darwin-panther-v2.0.tar.gz /x-tad-smaller orx-tad-smaller freesurfer-Darwin-tiger-dev20051002-full.dmg /x-tad-smallerto try and install? (I'm guessing the first one, but I just want to be sure). Thanks very much. >Xander On Oct 7, 2005, at 12:49 PM, Nick Schmansky wrote: Xander, I haven't encountered this error message, and can't seem to track down its origin. Xander, Try using freesurfer-Darwin-tiger-dev20051002-full.dmg to upgrade. It should run on panther. Re: [Freesurfer] invalid command name PNG
Hi, Since I'm running Panther I downloaded: x-tad-smallerfreesurfer-Darwin-panther-v2.0.tar.gz/x-tad-smaller and tried to set it up. I got it downloaded and I set up the SetUpFreeSurfer.csh file. But at the beginning of the freesurfer/bin/csurf file is the following lines: # force local (next line not seen by tcl) \ exec /usr/sw/bin/tixwish4.1.8.3 $0 ${1+$@}# goto tcl8.3 #exec $LOCAL_DIR/bin/`uname -s`/tixwish4.1.7.4 $0 ${1+$@}# goto tcl7.4 I'm not sure what to make of them except that I get an error when I try to run csurf because I don't have /usr/sw/bin/tixwish4.1.8.3. Am I downloading the wrong file? Or do I just have the settings messed up again? Thanks very much. >Xander On Oct 7, 2005, at 12:49 PM, Nick Schmansky wrote: Xander, I haven't encountered this error message, and can't seem to track down its origin. Re: [Freesurfer] invalid command name PNG
For this installation of Freesurfer, you would need to edit csurf to change the line '/usr/sw/bin/tixwish4.1.8.3' to point to your own installation of tixwish, which is not distributed with this freesurfer installation. The newer dev installation does include it though, so you may have better luck installing it.
