Try to remove the credentials from the file
/conf/autoload-configs/xmlrpc.conf.xml
and remove the username and password from your code as well. Then try it
again.

Just to make sure its working. After that you can revert all back.

Otherwise, you can try the url in your internet browser. It should ask for
the credential. By default username=freeswitch and password=works.

Cheers.

Hey Adeel,

Thanks for the help - actually, I was swapping the username and password! shoot

Any idea why this is happening? the destination extension is logged in alright
and I can make a successful call to it using the xlite soft phone directly. I
tried it out with other destination numbers as well. I am using a LAN IP for my
domain.

Try to remove the credentials from the file
/conf/autoload-configs/xmlrpc.conf.xml
and remove the username and password from your code as well. Then try it again.

Just to make sure its working. After that you can revert all back.

Otherwise, you can try the url in your internet browser. It should ask for the
credential. By default username=freeswitch and password=works.

Cheers.

[Freeswitch-users] How to mix 3 way voice ?

2008-08-26 Thread Lee JJ
Hello :

Here is the testing dialplan.

While caller call out a 070xxx user , during talk caller press "*3" ,
FW execute calltest.js

### calltest.js ###
// Create new_session
n_sess = new Session() ;
res = n_sess.originate(n_sess, "sofia/inter2/1527%210.243.126.72" );

// wait for it ... answer
n_sess.waitForAnswer(1);

// IF everybody is ready, then bridge our current session & the new_session
//session.ready() && new.session ready
if ( n_sess.ready() ) {
//bridge(session, n_sess);
//session.execute("threeway", sv_uuid ) ;
//n_sess.execute("threeway", n_sess.uuid ) ;
session.execute("conference", "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" ) ;
n_sess.execute("conference",  "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" ) ;
}

No matter I tried "bridge" , "threeway" or conference , there always
one leg hangup.

Re: [Freeswitch-users] HA clustering solution?

2008-08-26 Thread Tom Warren
Hi James,

I'd like to avoid front-ending the FS boxes and instead have them
load-share amongst themselves or sit in a hot/standby arrangement
while updating the other box(es) with call state and configuration
changes. They would be connected directly via a closed tertiary
network so that the heartbeat could be set to a very low value, and
call state data would not traverse the same path as the call traffic.
Am I just dreaming? Could a standby box take over call in progress
when the primary fails?

Thanks,

Tom

Re: [Freeswitch-users] TLS and SRTP between 2 Freeswitch servers

2008-08-26 Thread Peter P GMX
I have tried to set this up, but I need some help to get TLS to work

What does work:
I setup 2 freeswitch servers with IP xxx.xxx.xxx.55 and xxx.xxx.xxx.56.
They are connected via UDP/Port 5060 (SIP)
I have 2 snom phones connected to the servers via TLS (1002@
xxx.xxx.xxx.55 and 1003@ xxx.xxx.xxx.56)
Server1 registers to Server2 as UA 1007
I can dial "8001" on [EMAIL PROTECTED] and reach [EMAIL PROTECTED] and make a
call

What doesn't work
If I try to change the communication to TLS/SRTP between the 2 servers
it fails (I think due to missing knowledge on my side)

here is my conf:
FS Server 1
dialplan/default.xml: Route 8001 to 2nd freeswitch

Gateway:

dialplan/public.xml for inbound

Register on FS 2 as UA1007
external/example.xml

On Server2
dialplan/default.xml

When I try to connect the call, on server1 I see:
2008-08-27 01:37:28 [DEBUG] switch_core_state_machine.c:140
switch_core_standard_on_execute() sofia/internal/[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Execute bridge(sofia/gateway/freeswitch2/[EMAIL PROTECTED])
2008-08-27 01:37:28 [ERR] mod_sofia.c:1864 sofia_outgoing_channel()
Invalid Gateway
2008-08-27 01:37:28 [NOTICE] mod_sofia.c:2055 sofia_outgoing_channel()
Close Channel N/A [CS_NEW]
2008-08-27 01:37:28 [ERR] switch_ivr_originate.c:926
switch_ivr_originate() Cannot create outgoing channel of type [sofia]
cause: [INVALID_NUMBER_FORMAT]

The only thing I changed in external/example.xml was setting transport
to TLS

I also tried to modify proxy and register proxy (added ;transport=tls)
in the gateway settings but no scuccess.

Is there anything more to do?

Best regards
Peter

Re: [Freeswitch-users] anybody done nuance mrcp?

2008-08-26 Thread UV
I haven’t tried Nuance MRCP interface but I have lot’s of experience
evaluating the Nuance technology.

Today, Nuance considered being the state-of-the-art in this field and
they’re OEM’ing it to most tier-1 vendors, most notably: Microsoft and
Genesis/Alcatel/Lucent. Most likely any ASR application you’ll encounter
from a top-tier carrier today is based on Nuance.

I’m particularly familiar with Nuance NLP product and their extensive VXML
interface and found it to be most efficient.

I’ve tested better hardware-based DSP speech verification/authentication
engines but it was quite cumbersome to integrate with as opposed to Nuance
ease of use.

The CMU sphinx and it’s realtime mini-version pocketsphinx are a great
initiative and hopefully, as a university backed open source project, it
will exceed Nuance strength and usability soon enough.

My 2c worth.

Cheers,

Yuval Hertzog

Re: [Freeswitch-users] Playback loop and Playback on Parked Call

2008-08-26 Thread Anthony Minessale
If you are using event_socket to control the parked call you can do the
following.

call-command: execute
execute-app-name: playback
execute-app-arg: /path/to/file
lead-frames: 5
loops: -1

loops can also be 1..N for how many times to loop.

also, optionally you can add

event-lock: true

if you want to make any subsequent commands wait for this one to finish

and

hold-bleg: true

If the call is in a bridge and you want to play the file on the call and put
the other leg on hold while the file is being played.

Re: [Freeswitch-users] How to originate a session from outside

2008-08-26 Thread Adeel Ansari
Try to remove the credentials from the file
/conf/autoload-configs/xmlrpc.conf.xml
and remove the username and password from your code as well. Then try it
again.

Just to make sure its working. After that you can revert all back.

Otherwise, you can try the url in your internet browser. It should ask for
the credential. By default username=freeswitch and password=works.

Cheers.

I don't think there's anything out of the box. I would imagine, much as
you can do with web servers, some form of R-R DNS exposing some proxies
that connect to 2+ FreeSWITCH/other boxen would essentially do the trick.

The tricky part would be getting any new machines to announce themselves
to the proxies and getting the proxies to remove machines now out of
service. I'll be looking into that later...

[Freeswitch-users] script finished before call is answered

2008-08-26 Thread Yanhao Zhu
Hi, all,

I have a very simple lua script hello.lua:
session:answer()
session:streamFile("hello.wav")
session:hangup()

When I tried
"originate sofia/default/1001 &lua(hello.lua)",
the script started to execute after the call is answered. But when I
tried with something like
"originate sofia/gateway/onesuite/123456789 &lua(hello.lua)",
the script executed/finished before the call was answered.

Is there a way to make sure the script only executes after the call is
answered (by the end device) when calling through a SIP gateway? Can
any one give me some hints?

Thanks a lot,
Yanhao Zhu

Hi,

If I have different audio tracks that I would like to loop through, does it
mean I need different folder for each? Moreover, if I loop through
different folders, does it mean freeswitch would start multiple "player" and
consume resources ineffectively as the audio is probably played only for a
very limited duration.

Thanks for your advice.

Do I need to do any special configuration?

Borris, you are great. Actually, this code worked like charm, with no changes.
I will edit the xmlrpc-example wiki page to include the Java example, shortly.

Thanks once again.

  Since the code above is written "from my memory", take it for

  If you need more control over the call(s), consider using

  Hope this helps,

maybe you can use localstream for this.
this loops trough a folder.
but its started when you start freeswitch.
but therefore you can connect a lot of channels to it and it is still
only one player.

Re: [Freeswitch-users] wiki att_xfer or consultation hold ?

2008-08-26 Thread Brian West
Lee,
If you're going to use SIP then use the attended transfer feature of
your SIP phone we support both blind and attended transfers within the
confines of sip. If you would have pressed 0 the call would have been
turned into a threeway call. Then you could hangup and the transfer
would be complete. This feature is mostly for Analog and pstn phones
that don't have a native attended transfer feature.

[Freeswitch-users] wiki att_xfer or consultation hold ?

2008-08-26 Thread Lee JJ
Hello :

http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Misc._Dialplan_Tools_att_xfer

I found this example seems not an "attended transfer" , rather
a consultation hold.

An ext 1527 --> call ext 1528 , then 1528 press "*3" , and keyin  "1529#"
1527 into holding state listening music, 1528 and 1529 bridged
if 1527 hungup , all disconected , only on 1529 hangup , 1527 go back with 1528
