You use the runtime. That's always not so good. And you the dxr3
patch, also a very buggy frontend. First if all, get rid of the
runtime and try again (with the dxr3 patch).

That has nothing to do with X or dxr3. Check your recording command
arguments (I don't know which variable right now).
