Re: [Freevo-users] XMLTV Program Guide Help

2003-08-30 Thread Aubin Paul
Also, if you have CVS, I have a script that does this automatically;
it's in WIP/Aubin; it's called xmltv-automatic and it'll populate all
the fields so you don't need to edit anything.

Fixed in CVS (you need cvs from freevo and mmpython). Now mmpython
only scans the needed directory, not the whole disc. In your case:
when you select the cd, scanning will be very fast (only
directories). When you go into a dir, mmpython will scan this dir
(only the the 200/50 images there). It will still take some time. If
you reinsert the disc, again, this dir will still be in the cache, the
others not until you also selected them once.

you should also remove /var/cache/freevo/TV.xml-0.pickled or
/tmp/freevo/cache/TV.xml-0.pickled

if they exist after changing your TV_CHANNELS variable.

It's only in cvs, not in 1.3.4

There is a freevo-snapshot and mmpython-snapshot ebuild. After
rsync-freevo, try these.

Hi,

Yes I know. But the monitor alone does not work either. Also Freevo 1.3.2 _works_
perfectly so something has been changed in current Freevo, which causes this.

I have both Freevo 1.3.2 and 1.3.4 installed at the same time so I can easily confirm
that 1.3.2 works and 1.3.4 does not work.
