Re: [Freevo-users] Re: usb mass storage help please [attn Dischi]

2004-04-27 Thread Mick
Hi Robert.

I tried the best I could, and I cannot get this going...

Did you write the plugin? I think wether or not the directory is
mounting is relavtily easy to fix, the problem is making the directoy
visible in freevo only when the device is available.. This part of the
code I simply connot reverse engineer. To be honest, it looks like this
part of the code does not exist.. It seems so simple i'm a little bit
peaved I can't work out whats going on..

Maybe it is something inferred by something else.. Like the Dir item..
In any case i can only appoligise for being stupid.. But can someone
help me with this?

Re: [Freevo-users] 1.5 Pre 1 issues

2004-04-27 Thread Joe Piche
I have everything I know about this on my website under digimatrix.

bluethunder.host.sk

I havent updated the site because I gave up on mandrake 9.2, and upgraded to
mandrake 10. Got tired to having to jury-rig everything to make it work (ie
CD-RW). Just waiting for M10 official to come out.

I'll try to help you out anyway i can.

Good luck, Joe

[Freevo-users] tvmixer for sound recording

2004-04-27 Thread Mary Strimel
Title: Message

Thanks Paul.

can you send your
VCR_CMD for reference? mencoder freezes on me when I
do:
mencoder -tv
on:driver-v4l:input=0:norm=NTSC:channel=2:width=320:height=240:device=dev/video0:adevice=/dev/dsp2:vbitrate=1200
-oac mp3lame -lameopts br=128:cbr:mode=3 --ffourcc divx -o
/home/mary/test.avi

If I take out the
audio device from the above, it will record video but no sound. btaudio
loaded fine.

my "aumix -d
/dev/mixer1 -q" gives
line1 0, 0,
P
line2 0, 0,
R
line3 0, 0,
P

Is this
bad?

dmesg
reports btaudio on /dev/dsp2 for digital, dev/dsp3 for analog, and
mixer1.

not sure what to try
next ... I'm so close, any help is appreciated!
thanks,Mary
