Hi,

 I've apply the patch in event.py and xine.py
 i've try to add this in my local.conf
 EVENTS['video']['4'] = Event(VIDEO_SEND_MPLAYER_CMD,
 arg='ToggleAspectRatio')
Doesn't work with Xine...

With the patch, use the following line instead:
EVENTS['video']['4'] = VIDEO_TOGGLE_ASPECT

Regards,
Cyril.

[Freevo-users] The kaa module repository could not be loaded!

2005-06-26 Thread Andreas Lorensen

when running FreeVO 2.0 from CVS i'll got this message.
---
The kaa module repository could not be loaded!

Please check out the kaa repository from Freevo cvs
cvs -d:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvsroot/freevo login
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvsroot/freevo co -P kaa

Please install it as root into your system or into the Freevo
site-lisp directory be running setup in the kaa root directory:
python setup.py install --install-lib=/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages \
--install-scripts=/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/bin
When using the command above, you need to reinstall kaa every time
you run 'make clean' in the freevo directory.

Kaa is under development right now. Make sure you update the kaa
directory every time you update freevo cvs.
---

I'll get the kaa module as described, but when installing I'll get this
message

--

I'll can't figure out what is wrong or what i am missing

Please help me.

/A

Re: [Freevo-users] Re: Controling xine with freevo

2005-06-26 Thread Evan Hisey
Prysme-
   On Slackware the option --no-lirc can break freevo becuase Patrick
does not compile Lirc in to the Slackware version of Freevo. I have
been bit by this several times. As to why it is normally needed,
without that switch Xine will take control of lirc signals away from
freevo.

Cyril-
   Sweet patch idea, I 'll have to play wiht it. Is it against 1.5.3 or 2.0?

Evan
