DVB-C is similar and should work, I'm not sure about DVB-S. The problem is that we can't test it to fix problems. We need some help here. And for ivtv, the basic stuff is there, Rob only needs to fix the scanning and maybe some sort of channel.conf parser. I'm not sure when he has the time to do so. Again: I can't help beccause I don't have such a card. For normal analog tv, the road is longer. I now have such a card (thanks to donations), but I need some time to play with it, finding about how to record. We need some ort of compression, maybe nuppelvideo, bit I would prefer mpeg1 or mpeg2. Here is a lot of stuff to do, for the major part, we need help of C/C++ hackers. You can't stream the whole freevo, you just can have the tvcards on different hosts. Dischi -- You can rent this space for only $5 a week. pgpoXw3mdohLk.pgp Description: PGP signature

Re: [Freevo-users] Re: lcd plugin
What ? if I understand good, you are actually binding freevo's lcdproc's output onto your graphical LCD display using this library ? Well, now that is really cool ! Seriously, I'm about to buy an LCD display, and if you're able to explain how to do this, I think I'll get some graphical one instead. Gis. gislain wautriche wrote: Anyone thought about adapting the wonderfull VDR's graphic LCD plugin to Freevo ? http://home.arcor.de/andreas.regel/vdr_graphlcd.htm Sure, but not adapting the VDR plugin itself, instead using the graphlcd-base library for a native freevo plugin. BTW, the new homepage is http://graphlcd.berlios.de/. I'm only waiting for Freevo2 to get into a relative stable/usable state (also from architectural point of view, as there have been deep changes lately, as far as I understood). At the moment, that library is actually driving Freevo's LCDproc menu on my graphical VFD ;-) --- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Tame your development challenges with Apache's Geronimo App Server.
