I solved the issue activating the xmms plugin, but now i'm not > able to listen to web radio... better: freevo report that the pyxmms package is not properly installed (I use for the whole system the debian packages, included freevo) and then switch to the audio.xine plugin. this plugin is not able to listen to web radio. [Freevo-users] Lang id wrong
Hi list, I got a problem, using 1.5.4, when selecting the audio language before starting to play a DVD. No audio whatsoever. I found out what the problem is, but I have no solution: freevo passes the arg '-aid 1' to mplayer, but there's no such audio id in the DVD, since every id is from 128 on... So I'm asking from where does freevo take the ids... maybe some system command changed the output type and freevo is being fooled? Thanks for any info! Re: [Freevo-users] mp3 playback question
I have this same problem too and I do not have a good solution. The problem is in freevo's way to use mplayer. Freevo uses an argument -demuxer 17 (if I remember it correctly) when a mp3 file is identified. As I understood that it is a mplayer problem, I asked in the mplayer-user mailing list as well. It seems to be a bug in the current version and is fixed in the CVS version (it really works with the version :) ). So if anyone apart from me and Kari has the same problems, using the CVS version makes the bug disappear! regs, Stephan --- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc. The problem may be that we use the mplayer stdout information to detect if mplayer played the file with success or not. If freevo thinks mplayer failed, it will replay the file with xine. So in this case I guess the status line is wrong. Dischi -- The sum of society's intelligence is less than the average of it's individual parts. pgpEaiAWGkjzB.pgp Description: PGP signature
