[Freevo-users] PVR-150 data loss????

2006-11-07 Thread Paul Sijben
I am having some problems with my PVR-150 when I am recording a TV show
at the same time as playing another one. The recording has strange spots
in it, that I attribute to data loss in the mpeg stream. I do not have
it when I am not simultaneously playing a recording.

The strange thing is that I do not have this with my PVR-350, also using
the ivtv driver.

I can believe that xine playing an mpeg stream (on a unichrome system
with xxmc driver) will take sufficient CPU power to make a python thread
not be very prompt. However, losing data like that should happen in the
same way on a 350 too. Or does the 150 have much less buffer capacity?

Or am I missing something else here?

Paul

[Freevo-users] UDF DVD

2006-11-07 Thread [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Hello guys,

I have some UDF DVDs and they are not showing up in Movies. Freevo
shows disc name consisting of underscores and when I open up CD Freevo
says it is empty.
I can mount these UDF DVDs manualy on some mount point and access
contents in Freevo.
ISO DVDs are working just fine.
Any ideas?

Thanks!
Reggie

Re: [Freevo-users] Zope interface dependency failes

2006-11-07 Thread Matthieu Gaeremynck
Thanks

everything is working again, re-started recording yesterday evening. Now the
records are not stopping automatically anymore but I will investigate that
further. The recording starts correctly at the sheduled time but doesn't
stop. I have to stop the recordserver manually.

All tips are welcome ;)

greetings

Matthieu

When you start python from the command line it will tell you which
version you are using.

Go to the /usr/lib/python2.x/site-packages and you will see if
zopeinterface is installed there.

If not then you can try re-installing it or do a which python, it should
be a soft link which you can delete and change to the old version. eg:
ln -s python2.4 /usr/bin/python
