I tried xbmc too. I'm going to have to upgrade to use it, because I don't have a card which does VDPAU. I tried to use mplayer as an external player, but it doesn't work as well as it does with freevo and I cannot explain why. Also, I couldn't get the remote to work :-( I like my freevo!! Are there any instructions as to how to install and run freevo2 from svn repository? I don't see anything on the wiki. I've written a couple of freevo plugins, learned python (a little) to do so. I'm might try helping out development if I can install and play with freevo 2. Thanks for any help.
