The configuration file is just a list of the channels IDs you want to actually grab among those known. If tv_grab_it cannot find a channel by itself, it will neither be able to download the corresponding data, even if it's included in your conf file. Just have your version upgraded. I could give you mine, but you can create your own just running tv_grab_it --configure, so if you have any problem it will not help you. Which version of xmltv are you using? I am using xmltv from debian stable, 0.5.52-1 If I try to use --configure option I get only three channels.
