[Freevo-users] nvram-wakeup integration status ?
Hi, what is the status of the nvram-wakeup integration for 1.5.x odr 2.0 ? I thought Hans Meine had allready published a patch but I can't find it. Is it available for download somewhere ? I've wrote a bash script which checks for user activity, reads scheduled recordings from /var/cache/freevo/upsoon and sets wakeup/shutdown after x sec idle time. Anyone interested ? It's rather easy to setup. [Freevo-users] TV-guide questions: no logos, no detailed info
Hi, I've got two minor problems with the tv guide in v. 1.5.3: First one: No logos show up in the TV guide I've copied the station logos into /tmp/freevo/xmltv/logos/, tried lowercase station names and case sensitive typing - no success.. This is my setup: TV_CHANNELS = [ ( 'CNI0DC1', 'ARD', '210.00MHz' ), [...] # TV_LOGOS = OS_CACHEDIR + '/xmltv/logos' ls /tmp/freevo/xmltv/logos/: ard.png [...] PNG format is all right ? Any special png-options necessary ? Do I need any image-tags in my TV.xml file ? I grab it with nxtvepg. Second one: no detailed infos about a show/movie as provided in the desc-tag from TV.xml. The info is shown when pressing d while watching live tv with tvtime. Is it possible to get this information within the tv guide ? I know that it worked in freevo 1.4.1, as e.g shown in the german computer magazine c't 8/2004, page 108. There's a yellow pop-up showing the descripition in front of the tv guide. Can someone point me to the next step ? Any further debug infos needed ? There are three things that are most important for me to handle via remote: 1. DVD Next/Previous language Xine keymap is minus/plus. Rear is connected to a hifi-system, front to an active stereo speaker-set, front is the tv itself and subwoofer an active subwoofer. How to control all these speakers at once ? local_conf, but freevo didn't reported anything at all (neither load nor
fail).
Well, pressing 'e' on a directory does the job.
@developers: why don't add a small how-to (1 line!) to the plugin source
so even a newbie gets it.
4. video.info plugin
Tried to activate this plugin. Added plugin.activate('video.info') and
EVENTS['menu']['2'] = Event(MENU_CALL_ITEM_ACTION, arg='info_show')
to local_conf. Loading fails:
plugin.activate('video.imdb_info') makes it work.
@developers: could you please change this in the plugin source.
Or did you renamed the file to info.py ?
5. imdb search
Crashes when not online.
Still the same. Maybe it's fixed in cvs ?
@developers: I still have problems placing the icons in the idlebar.
I know where to change it in source but shouldn't it be configurable
through 'level'-value ?

I've played around with the new binary release (nice
work !) and encountered a few problems.
1. idlebar
I tried to move the icons to the right side. Increased
'level' to 40 (mail), 50 (tv) and 70 (clock), but positions
didn't change at all.
2. idlebar.clock
I would like to change format and font size - found it hardcoded.
Maybe it would make sense to have it configurable via local_conf
3. df plugin
