[Freevo-users] Problem With Radio on Pinnacle 50i card
Hi All I am using Pinnacle 50i TV tuner card for watching TV but Radio functionality is not working with the card when I used /sbin/modprobe saa7134 card=77 tuner=54. TV is working fine with this on linux-2.26.23.3.But when I used /sbin/modprobe saa7134 card=65 tuner=54 my radio is working fine with this tuner card and not TV. When I tried with Linux-2.26.23.1 kernel with same command /sbin/modprobe saa7134 card=77 tuner=54 radio is working fine but sound coming out from the device is too small.which not audible.Can any one tell me the reason behind this? Hi All... I am using my customize TV.xml file as EPG in freevo which is manually created from website data.Now I want to update my TV.xml on daily basis.Any one has automated scripts for the same.If it is their or any suggestion for the same please let me know.. Hi All, I am using pinnacle 50i tv tuner card which is working fine under linux (FC6 and FC8).Now I want to swtich on some USB cards.Do you know any USB tv tuner card which is working fine under linux...??? And we are using RF input for our card (Analog).So we want to use that card with our existing setup. Thanks In advance.. I am using pinnacle 5i (DVB-T) card.And I am using xine player for play pause utility.But my xine player is working with xine v4l:// command...but it is not working with xine v4l:// command.when I run this command it show there is no channels.conf file.Can any one knows about channels.conf for india.Or anu one is havinf ieda how to run xine for DVB-t card without using channels.conf file..? As pe my previous posts for recording of live tv while watching live tv ...Good news is that I achived this thing by using vloopback procedure following links gives clear ieda about that http://www.lavrsen.dk/twiki/bin/view/Motion/VideoForLinuxLoopbackDevice; and http://tibit.org/video/ . With this help I am now able to record live tv.But thing is that for sound recoding I am having only one device i.e. /dev/dsp how can i do sound recording while watching live tv.Is there any procedure to creat virtual layer for sound devices as vllopback creats for video devices. If you where to start recording TV and then watch the recording you could record and watch (almost) live TV. But you with your card you can't record while watching Live TV, v minor difference I know but significant. To do this you'll need a card supported by the ivtv driver (i.e. with an MPEG2 encoder on the card) and use the ivtv plugin as Evan has suggested. Hope that answers your question. Hi Duncan, I am using freevo-1.8.3 version with two diffrent cards one is pinnacle 50i and other is Hauppauge-350 card ..both are working fine with the freevo ..only one part I am missing ..I want to record live show while watching live tv ...by pressing only one key like freevo provides (F6) ...can u tell me procedure how can i do this ..??? for pinnacle 50i we are using tvtime and for hauppauge-350 we are using mplayer ..but we want to enable this with the pinnacle 50i card..If u have any pointers regarding this plese let me know ...
