Hi,
I've been using freevo (on Gentoo) for quite a while, the 1.3.4 worked quite well for me, but now I'm trying to get 1.4rc1 to run, and I seem to have quite a lot of errors. I followed this scenario: 1) start freevo 2) select 'Watch a Movie' 3) select any directory 4) freevo crashes! I have set-up the 'movies' directory to point correctly to my divx movies dir. Here's the trace: ----------------------- nine root # freevo Error: DIR_AUDIO not set, set it to Home directory Error: DIR_IMAGES not set, set it to Home directory Error: DIR_GAMES not set, set it to Home directory Error: DIR_RECORD not set Please set DIR_RECORD to the directory, where recordings should be stored or remove the tv plugin. Autoset variable to /extra/music/clips. (and even if not, then a warning might be a better idea than crashing :-). Any advice would be greatly appreciated, Mark. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: The SF.net Donation Program.
