Sorry, my mistake. I wrote this away from my test machine. I just tried it
with 1.3.4 and it is working fine. I think the 'multipage' icon looks too
much like an unrecognized file icon, could've threw me off as well (better
to embed some graphic inside the page?)

I was actually referring to the Bins directory where the picture1 xml
description doesn't show up? Picture2 is ok. Also, the detailed EXIF data
in the image viewer is not displayed anymore. Was that intentional?
(I saw a FIXME comment in viewer.py)

Incidentally, the lack of directory names unless the icon is highlighted
makes it a little confusing (at least we can switch to a filelist display
format).

If windows is the answer, it must have been a stupid question.

Go ahead and remove it, it was just meant to be an example for complete
newbies on how to quickly link in their folders without messing with the
config files.

Maybe the config files should have the filesystem root (and $HOME?) as
the default for music, movies, etc? Then a new user can easily scroll to
whatever content he has on his drives? The drawback would be the initial
caching since most people have huge drives nowadays...

Since we're on this topic, what is the purpose of the folders "You can
Link Your Folders to Testfiles" for? I'd rather just remove them, since
they don't tell the users anything useful.

Also, the recent testfile stuff don't have the proper fxds for the Movies
files (should be fixed), and the Images CA-Coast.ssr file isn't recognized
anymore (need a new plugin?).

Yes, I believe it was. How come every file got that icon? I figured out
how to fix it though, thanks.

I think that is a very good idea.

I agree; I don't even think it needs to be in the freevo/ part of CVS;
it could be moved into seperate module if it needs CVS as all; it's
not as if we need revision control for it.

Sounds like he's talking about
