It looks more difficult. In the beginning Freevo didn't find my xine version. Added debugging line and all was fine, for the user root. As a normal user, anyway, the plugin is activated, but when xine is launched, it fails the driver. The point is that it's the same that is working for root... The user is on the correct groups and I'm (almost)sure it had the right privileges... Still working on it, anyway...
