RE: [Freevo-users] very strange recordserver issue on 1.5pre1
OK, I'll give that a go. Where did you find that setting? What you will see (in freevo tv display) is 2 entries in your record dir, one with just the name, and it will error when trying to play, and the other with the full file name, which doesn't error but is a little more guff than I want on my screen.. Any game on suggesting a fix? There is a setting (in local_conf.py) called DEFAULT_REC_EXT In my setup, I have DEFAULT_REC_EXT = 'avi' works perfectly. RE: [Freevo-users] very strange recordserver issue on 1.5pre1
Mick, The setting was not advertised. It was a hack. The real code to do this automatically without having to set up anything has been delayed a little but until some new functionality for events has been added to the recordserver. it is expected to be in the real 1.5 release just not in there yet sorry. -- Mike Ruelle [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://world.std.com/~mruelle/ On Thu, 2004-04-15 at 05:31, Mick wrote: OK, I'll give that a go. RE: [Freevo-users] very strange recordserver issue on 1.5pre1
For the record, This worked! Only, it needs to look like this: DEFAULT_REC_EXT = '.avi' Cheers, Mick -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Mick Sent: Thursday, 15 April 2004 5:32 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [Freevo-users] very strange recordserver issue on 1.5pre1 OK, I'll give that a go.
