I feel a bit stupid, adding to the dvb section in MPLAYER_ARGS works
fine... :-O

OK, I will discribe the setup I use:
Using an dreambox for tv viewing with my smartcard in it wich streams
the cards info on local network to my freevo-box for recodings.
If someone of the freevo team sees a problem in it du too it's possible
illigal nature please lett me know. (I don't want to bring the project
in discredid)

MPLAYER_VO_DEV_OPTS, see freevo_conf.py or maybe there is something in
the wiki.

I don't think that this would be a problem, Linux is full of grey areas
that are generally okay for personal use.

OK thanks Duncan,

I still have another problem; I use sasc-ng as softcam for dvb wich
means I have to use streams from my second (virtual) dvb adapter.
I can add -dvbin card=2 to my record command but for playing I added
that option to tv/plugins/mplayer.py
Is there an option in local_conf.py wich I can use for mplayer options?

I'am planning on writing an "linux-dvb with sasc-ng from scratch" howto,
is it allowed to put it in the wiki? (using softcam is a "grey" area
since it can be abused for cardsharing purpose, so if that would bring
discredid to the freevo project I will not put it in the wiki)

TV_RECORD_PADDING_PRE = the number of seconds to record before the start
TV_RECORD_PADDING_POST = the number of seconds to record after the
finish time.

TV_RECORD_PADDING_POST = 10 * 60 is what you want. You may need to set
PRE too.
