Dear martian:

I found your band while I was cruising around MP3.com and thought I would drop you a
line. I like what your doing and I like to support other artists on the web, like my
own band, The Ugly Mugs (http://www.iuma.com/IUMA/Bands/Ugly_Mugs/).

In addition to being a guitar player, I also started a site that you may be familiar
with, called IUMA. IUMA supplies artists with free space for a website, music
postings, CD sales, and tips on how to promote your band. IUMA has become one of the
oldest and best music web sites for unsigned artists and over the coming months we
will be expanding our abilities to help unsigned artists get signed.

Another one of the cool things we are doing is sharing our ad revenues with you. We
sell ads on the site and give back cash to our artists that is proportional to the
traffic that your site gets in our network.

If you have 10-20 minutes please take the time to create your IUMA site at
http://artistsonly.iuma.com/ArtistsOnly/
You'll even be able to link your IUMA site to your own page to increase your overall
traffic.

Oh, and I use a service to help me with these emails, so if you do not want me to
contact you again in the future, just click on the unsubscribe button at the bottom of
this email and I will not send you anything again.

Cheers,

Jeff Patterson
Founder, IUMA
Guitarist, Ugly Mugs

It's all true. As for 'backbone', I didn't want to spoil

He's too modest to announce it, but Elkins has made a
CD
available on
mp3.com for the modest price of $5.99. Containing 6
tracks
including
the fine 'Backbone' (not available as a free
download, err for
copyright reasons, Neil?).

I've bought one. You should too.

l8rz, martian

PS Shipping is $3.25 making the CD about 6 quid - what a
bargain :-)
