The lack of focus on population has always been a problem linked to the
sustainable
development. But we have to take into consideration that the demographic map in
the world has changed a lot.
The ageing population in most of the developed and industrialised countries is
growing:Japan, China, Europe, US...For example New Zealand may be condemned to
disappear.
We have also to take into consideration the increase of migrations almost
everywhere
in the world. The demographic change and the compexity of the new data make me
not share optimistic view expressed by Lester Brown.
