Status update
Hi all, Can I please have a status update about how close we might be to needing another release? Just so I know when I might need to start creating tarballs. I'm hoping it won't be past the end of next month, as I now cannot devote time to this project. Kindly, Thomas Adam

I believe the fvwm-desktop-menu stuff is in working order. I did not look closely at the issue about make rpm-dist not working. It doesn't work for me either but it looked like it wasn't working because the tar.gz wasn't where it was supposed to be. I don't build inside the source tree. I didn't try Tom F's suggested solution. If that fixes it, I wouldn't understand why. The only other pressing issue I'm aware of is snapshots getting built off of 2.7. -- Dan Espen

In my opinion, both of those should go in liey of package maintainers downstream having the correct set of build files. OK, please double check that the most recent snapshot ftp://ftp.fvwm.org/pub/fvwm/devel/snapshots/fvwm-snap-20120823.tar.gz is built properly and from the proper branch. - J<
