I will try to send over a minimal config file with some window manipulation that shows this in most explicit way , but my hard drive on my main machine just died, so it will be in a few days. It could be due to some interplay between the video driver and fvwm, but I have no issues like this when I test with other window managers (and with same driver).

Usually, all they do is remove these anyway.
