Well, in fact for *me* it doesn't matter -- I rarely use Iconify, since multiple screens/desktops are better. A quick poll between our personnel shown that they simply don't realize the difference -- "Style * SloppyFocus", so in presence of many windows on the screen both behaviours are very similar. As I understand, the "new" behaviour is the same as in Win98/ME/2k -- those show yellow "tips" containing long titles when mouse enters the icon. The only difference is that the "tips" are of different color and are understood as such. But this isn't important, so the current expand-when- mouse-on-icon is good. ___ Dmitry Yu. In other words it doesn't collapse until it is mouse'd over again. And moving the pointer into a thusly raised icon title then raises the icon to the topmost layer too. If you just leave the icon normally with mouse movement, it behaves normally. It is only moving the pointer from the icon via a keyboard event. Icon titles not retracting
Version: 2.3.32 When icons are focused on via the keyboard (e.g., binding 'Next [Iconic] Focus' to a key sequence), the icon title expands (as expected), but when focus leaves via the keyboard, the icon title stays expanded instead of contracting or retracting or whatnot.
